Foreign Exchange

Foreign Exchange Students with Board Members, Superintendent, and the Director of the ESOL Department.Seminole County Public Schools (SCPS) Foreign Exchange programs provide students with an opportunity to study in a different country and environment experiencing the history and culture of another country. Most students go on exchange with the assistance of some sort reputable organization. The enterprise should be expected to find a host family for the student, as well as organizing flights, providing insurance, and helping the exchange student to get a student visa. In addition, the organization will interview a potential exchange student to see if he or she is fit for the program. Once everything is in order, the student will be placed with a host family and, one of our districts schools to start the wonderful journey of learning the American life.
